Website of the Week The ever popular ESPEE railfan site
Posted by ThoroughBreed on Tuesday, 11 November 2008 (17:07:33) (16 reads)

Here is a site, that is as important to every Southern Pacific modeler as a bible. You will find the most modern and older roster shots. It contains one of the best protoype pic galleries available, along with walkarounds of certain units. It also has car info, depot pics and info, DRGW info, and passenger car info.
And for the Steamers here, there are quite a few pics of the big cabforwards and other steamers there.

Website of the Week Site of the Week
Posted by fred_m on Tuesday, 04 November 2008 (21:58:54) (28 reads)

Though not a train site, this week's site has a wealth of information about steam power sources that help explain what some of the parts are and how they worked which will make us better modelers on steam engine and donkey plumbing and parts. It's also quite interesting to a gearhead history buff like me.

Inkie pulls off another win with the contest for Sept/Oct, and a fantastic scene it was! That baby looked real to me!

So lets all give INKIE a big At-A-Boy as he earned all the braggin rights for November.
Go to the Red Cabbose to check this months contest.

(sorry I am a day late again, plum slipped my mind)

Jules Heiliczer's dedication to modeling the Bethlehem Steel plant at Bethlehem, PA. A nice layout with some great details and kitbashing.

Contest News SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER CONTEST
Posted by jmarksbery on Saturday, 11 October 2008 (06:52:46) (101 reads)

I must apologize for this months contest. It will run it's course for the remainder of October in order for ME to get back on track. So keep posting those pictures.

My wife has been bad sick (still) and spending a lot of time with her and trying to find a cure. Other events have been going pretty rough as well.

Forgive me for this as my mind has not been thinking to rational lately. Everything should be back to normal soon I hope.

Thanks,
Jim
