Here is the contact # if you want to chase these up.
I think they are well worth the money and when painted up will enhance any layout.

Those kits look like they'd be great to assemble on a cold winter day!
Can't wait to see what they look like completed, painted, and weathered.

hey, its winter-time again, and well...wow the time has flown. I returned form deployment, had a bad day in the Navy and said I quit. Retirement party on the 13th of June, was retired for 6 weeks, and now work for the Army as a civilian. Officially retired from the Navy on 30Sep08...and now the wife has me doing all kinds of stuff...building ponds, laying tile, building a deck for the hot tub...when do I get to do my hobbies? I bought a couple of Keystone static shay's and would like to make them go round and round...Any ideas?

Congrats on your retirement, John... and thank you for your service to our country!!! How many years did you put in?
I retired after 22 years, and then retired the second time after another 22 years in civilian life.... (sounds like I was in a "rut" doesn't it?
Once again, I wish you and yours all the best and I hope you enjoy that new job....

I haven't built one yet.
However I have been tossing around a few ideas as how to power one without buying the NWSL kit for them.
I believe the NWSL drive kit is similar to the MDC drive and I want to take a different approach to it.
